The seven directors of the firm are assisted by one associate, five professional assistants and twelve candidate attorneys. Towards the middle of the year the process of appointing candidate attorneys for the following year commences. The preference is to appoint candidates who are innovative, enthusiastic and can think laterally. Academic excellence and a high work ethic are also prerequisites.
In conjunction with the University of Pretoria, a bursary scheme is offered for deserving third and final year law students. Details can be obtained from the firm’s business manager, Mr Johan Erasmus firstname.lastname@example.org,

The preferred method of appointing directors and professional assistants is from within. Candidate attorneys are trained extensively and exposed to the ethos of the firm and its clients. In so doing those with proven ability is considered and appointed as professional assistants, and can become directors.
